About Us
VOK Radio is stationed in Kamwenge District, Plot 69-73 Mbarara road, kamwenge town, operating on 87.9 Fm. The station was established as early as July 2007 covering Districts of Kasese, Bushenyi, Kabarole, Kyenjojo, Kibaale, Rubirizi, Kamwenge, Ibanda, Mbarara, Mubende, Lyantonde, Sembabule, Kiruhura and some parts of Congo among others.
Is fully licensed
by Uganda Communications Commission and Uganda Broadcasting Council, transmitting from Kabuga Hill Kamwenge, with its antennas built on its own mast of 120 meters high that helps produce a very clear and reliable strong signal.
Voice of Kamwenge gives qualitative programs that give people hope in life. This is done through broadcasting well researched programs dealing with issues that affect directly or indirectly the lives of people.
